Rena Mae Arnold, a beloved matriarch, devoted mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend, transitioned peacefully on October 6, 2024. Born on March 27, 1934, to Alfred and Lillie Mae Jones in Thornton, Arkansas, Rena Mae was a fierce lover of God and family, embodying strength and compassion throughout her life.
A dedicated nurse, Rena spent her career caring for others, always putting the needs of those around her before her own. Her nurturing spirit and warm heart made a lasting impact on everyone she encountered.
On December 25, 1969, Rena married the love of her life, Eugene Melvin Arnold, who preceded her in death. Their union was a testament to love and devotion, and we take comfort knowing she is now rejoicing in eternal peace with him.
Rena leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unwavering faith. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends, who are grateful for the time they shared with her and the lessons she imparted.

Cherishing her memory are her daughters, Brenda Alexander-Francois, and Tina Renee DeMaine; Grandchildren: Blu Alexander (Tammy), Michelle Francois, Jean Ward, James Carlton Pate, III, Janee Chomyn-Green (Sam), William Dalton DeMaine, Crystal Nix, Jeannie Whorton, Jenna Ward, Amber Pate, James Michael Pate, Rebecca Pate, Cory Pate, Olivia Alexander, Mia Alexander, Bexton DeMaine, Benett DeMaine; Great Grandchildren: Madalyn Nix, Ashleigh Gentry, Natalie Clawson, Connor Clawson, and Alex Monroe Jacobs; and 5 Great great grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5:00 until 7:00 pm Wednesday in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home.
Graveside Funeral Service will be 1:30 PM, Thursday October 10th, 2024 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Hampton, Arkansas.
