He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife Martha Sue (Hampton) Gilliland, great-granddaughters Libby Ann Hunter and Brianna Solis, and his sister Katherine Adams.
He is survived by his loving wife Evelyn, son Billy (Tamara) Gilliland, daughters Peggy Lambert and Jamie (Bobby) King, stepson Randy Phillips, stepdaughters Donna Leming and Sheryl Asher, 6 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and brother Wilbert (Uncle) Gilliland.
Pallbearers will be Chase Hunter, Robby King, Justin Lambert, Matt Ellis, Bill Hanna, and Chad King.
Honorary pallbearers are Arkansas Hospice, Dr. Martin Koehn, Dr. William Cole, Matt Wilson, and One Shot Hunting Club.
Visitation will be held at Valley Missionary Baptist Church (on Hwy 84 West) today from 1 to 2 pm.
Services will be immediately following, officiated by Bro. Bruce Tidwell.
