Her loving heart, giving spirit, and infectious laugh will live forever in our hearts. She was a very loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and “travel gal”. After graduating from Watson Chapel High School, Dorothy attended cosmetology school and enjoyed a 40-year career as a Cosmetologist. She loved to fish and enjoyed volunteering with the Cabot Animal Support Service and Safe Haven of Cabot We will always remember her smile, her laughter, and her way of bringing joy to others.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, George L. Coleman Jr and her granddaughter, Lori Nicole.
Cherishing her memory are her daughter, Leslie Nutt and her husband Don of Hot Springs; sister, Mary Jane Cohrt (Freddy) of Pine Bluff; brother, Walter Coleman of Little Rock; nieces, Ashley Riley (Shane) of Star City; and Rachael Bartels (Russ) of Little Rock; nephew, Matt Coleman (Shanda) of Gillett; granddaughter, Sloane Nutt of Hot Springs; and special friends, Donna Gustafson-Emery & Linda Fouts.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Lonoke County Safe Haven (PO Box 414 Cabot, Ar 72023) or to your local Humane Society.
All are invited to a memorial reception celebrating her life this Sunday, October 23rd, 2022 from 1:00- 3:00 in the chapel of Gross Funeral Home.
