Darrell served as a Sergeant in the Air Force during the Vietnam Conflict and was awarded 2 Bronze Stars during this time. After years of working in the New Orleans, LA residential construction industry he retired to Hot Springs, AR as an accomplished Artist at his own studio Loy’s Folk-art. Devoted to both family and friends, his message to all was to “Enjoy Life.”
Darrell is preceded in death by his parents, and his two sisters Mikie K. Parker and Gwenda Lyn Scott.
Survivors include his Son Jason Scott (Amy) of Frisco, TX; Granddaughters Haven Scott, Sophie Scott, and Emily Scott of Frisco, TX; Daughter Dana Orr (Keith) of Klamath Falls, OR; Grandsons Brandon Groff of San Jose, CA, Blaine Groff of Medford, OR, Cody Orr of Klamath Falls, OR; and Great Grandson Greyson Groff of Medford, OR.
