Amir Ellis Sr.

Amir I. Ellis Sr passed away in Jessieville, AR on Dec.16, 2023. Amir was born on April 4, 2003 in Hot Springs, AR at National Park Medical Center to parents Jessica Ellis and Dewayne Johnson Sr. Amir is survived by his parents, his only son, Amir Ellis Jr.,long time girlfriend and mother of his son, Alisea Nelson, his brothers, Ke’ydence Wiley, Alyjah Ellis, Kyngstan Ellis, Devin Johnson, and Dewayne Johnson Jr., his sister, Keishawn Johnson, BestFriend/Fav Cousin, Adreeina Johnson, grandfather, Alvie Ellis Jr., and grandmother, Rosetta Anderson, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends all over the world called Amir’s Army!

Amir graduated from Lake Hamilton High School where he was state and national wrestling champion during his sophomore year. Amir became a Certified Nursing Assistant after graduating high school. He is a member of Gethesemane Baptist Church where he gave his life back to Christ.

Amir was a loving son and brother who wanted nothing more than to be a good father to his first born son, Amir Jr., whom he never got to meet. Amir’s smile and contagious laugh will forever be engraved in our minds and our hearts.
