Tony Ramirez Hernandez

2022.

Born September 5, 1930; Tony was a simple man who was content to have a cold beer in his

hand; but was even happier to spend time with his family and his Sunday morning coffee visits. He retired as First Sergeant from the United States Army. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

Tony is preceded in death by his first wife, Kitty Hernandez and his parents, Alejandro

Hernandez and Maria Ramirez.

He is survived by his children, Teresa Belcher (Bob) and Tom Hernandez (Carol); his

grandchildren, Tiffany Spell (Joe), Robert Belcher (Victoria), and Ray Belcher, Emily Wright,

Tommy Hernandez (Kelly); Matthew Hernandez, his great-grandchildren, Michael Spell, Gavin

Spell, Aubrey Spell, Colton McHale, Robby Belcher, Brett Belcher, and Oliver Belcher, as well as

his sister, Terri Agurri, and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to extend their heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff at NC State

Veterans Home for their hard work, dedication, and care shown to Tony during his time there.

He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, October 15, 2022 at 12:00 pm at Reeves Funeral Home. A Graveside Service with Military Honors will follow at Cumberland Memorial Gardens.
