Kenneth Oliver Powell

Kenneth Oliver Powell, 80, of Hope Mills passed away on February 16, 2022 in Fayetteville. Left to cherish his memory is his wife Faye Powell, his son Steven Powell (wife Debbie), and daughters Donna Houston (husband George {Junior} Houston), and Katina Brown.

Kenneth also had six Grandchildren; Bryan, Michael, Justin, Kaitlyn, Joshua, and Zachary; he also is survived by nine Great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents James and Cora Powell, and his brothers Donald, Thurman, Liston, and Fairley Powell.

Kenneth was born on November 17, 1941. He retired from the city of Fayetteville and spent the rest of his days with his beloved wife.

A visitation for Kenneth will be held Friday, February 18, 2022 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Reeves Funeral Home, Hope Mills, North Carolina. A graveside service will occur Saturday, February 19, 2022 at 1:00 PM at Lafayette Memorial Park, 2301 Ramsey St, Fayetteville, North Carolina. Pastor Larry Hoard will be officiating.
