She was a long-time member of Refuge Church in Fayetteville, NC. She met her best friend and right hand woman Julie Almodovar at the church and for 11 years they could be counted on to get the job done. She was also a member of Ladies of Moose Lodge and enjoyed getting together with these friends once a month to have a meal and share stories of family and friends.
