Louise Byrne

Louise Phillips Byrne, 86, passed away peacefully in Hawaii on May 8, 2021. Born on April 3, 1935, in Bishop, California, her parents were Fred Phillips and Agnes Rivard Phillips. Louise attended St. Mary’s Hospital School of Nursing in San Francisco where she earned a bachelor’s degree and became a registered nurse. She married her beloved husband, Richard Byrne, in 1957. They had five children and moved several times during their marriage, including to Hawaii and a 200-year-old farm in Thurmont, Maryland.

Louise was a warm, kind, and witty woman who was deeply loved and will be missed. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, and her son Michael. She is survived by her children Thomas (Wanda), Monica, Carol (Randy), Barbara (Gary), 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild.

A funeral mass service will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 S Quebec St., Centennial, Colorado 80112.

Interment to follow at 1:00 p.m. at Chapel Hill Cemetery, 6601 South Colorado Blvd, Centennial, Colorado, 80121.
