He retired at age 72, after 50 years of construction. His last project was the Aulani, a Disney Resort & Spa, with Hawaiian Dredging Construction as Superintendent. He graduated from Wallace Rider Farrington High School in 1960 and was very active in all their reunions and events.
He started martial arts in 1958 at the age of 15, he continued to study KAJUKENBO and achieved Grand Master of the 9th degree. His love and passion were to cultivate and guide students to perpetuate Martial Morality to enable students to deal with changes and maximize their use of Spirit, Mind and Body as a demonstration of nature.
He is survived by his beautiful wife of 57 years, Adeline Mary, their children, Lisa Ann (Julio) Segundo, Jana (Roger) Baniaga, and Jonah (Cherisse) Pascua. Grandchildren, Jantina Keala Segundo (Kinohi Aki), John Roger Baniaga (Hazelle Magaoay), Zane Baniaga (Danielle Green) and Jamin Segundo (Tiara Mateo). Great Grandchildren, Kilinahe Aki, Kai'olu Aki, Leia Baniaga and Marlee Baniaga. Brothers, Stanley (Jane) Pascua and Stephen Zampaga. Sisters, Linda (Gilbert) Ikeda and Stephanie Zampaga. Hanai Children, Susan Pascua and Alfred Mirafuentes Jr.
He was welcomed in Heaven by his beloved Father, Juan Pascua Sr. Son, Isaac John Pascua and Granddaughter, Malia Segundo.
A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Borthwick Mortuary Maunakea Chapel, Honolulu, Hawaii. Visitation 9:00 AM, Services 10:00 AM. Burial will be 2:00 PM at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery, Kaneohe, Hawaii.
