Dennis S.Y. Yee, 71, of Kaneohe, Hawaii passed away peacefully at Castle Medical Center on November 19, 2012. He was born in Kailua, Hawaii, on January 1, 1941. He was a retired fire captain, a small business owner, a craftsman, landlord, activist, a loving father/grandfather, and a great friend to many that met him. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Tomi Yee; son Brian Yee; daughters Michelle Castilo, Jennifer Yee, and Jamie Yee; two grandchildren, Dante Castilo and Zoe Acklen; and mother Beatrice Yee.
Visitation will be held at Borthwick Mortuary- Mauka Chapel, December 7, from 9:30a.m. to 11:00a.m.
Service will begin at 11:00a.m. followed by reception.
