David Sadao Higa, 83, of Waianae, Hawaii, passed away on May 6, 2016 at the Queen's Medical Center. He was born in Paia, Maui and was a the Vice President for Robert Kaya Builders. Mr. Higa is survived by his wife, Barbara Jean Higa; sons, David S. Jr. and Howard H. Higa; daughters, Brandi T. Higa and Cierra J. Kauhane; brothers, Larry and Katsumi Higa; sisters, Kiyono Au, Mildred Tamaki, Lillian Kashiwabara, and Esther Tanaka; 8 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on May 27, 2016 at Borthwick Mortuary - Mauka Chapel. Visitation will be at 4:30pm and service will begin at 5:30pm. Inurnment will be held on June 7, 2016 at Hawaiian Memorial Park Cemetery at 10:00am.
