Charles Bryant Schrader, surrounded by his family at home, passed away peacefully on February 11, 2021, at the age of 91. Chuck was born in Honolulu on November 26, 1929 and graduated from Roosevelt HS in 1947 and University of Hawaii.
His love for the ocean took him to many places. One of his greatest feats was sailing to Tahiti utilizing the stars for navigation, which took him 26 days.
Preceded in death by wife Wilma and son Paul. Survived by wife Betty-Jane, son Kalani (wife Maile), Daughter Malia (husband Alberto), and his Grandchildren: Kailee, Sophie, and Charlotte.
Due to COVID restrictions, we will not be having services; however, ashes will be scattered at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kaneohe Yacht Club Junior Sailing, Salvation Army or River of Life Mission"
