Charles, aka Chuckie and Papa Chuckie joined his predeceased, loved sister, Dorothy Ishida. He is survived by his daughter Melanie Nishimura, son Derek Nishimura (Nikki Nishimura), granddaughter Graceson Nishimura, grandson Christian Aliser, brother Glenn Nishimura, and sister Lucille Mikasa.
Charles retired from working in the State Government in the Legislative Reference Bureau section. His special achievements include attaining a National Defense Service Medal.
On Charles' free time, he was a part of the Moanalua Golf Club and went to a Christian church.
