Anita Minnie Gouveia

Anita Minnie Gouveia, 91, of Honolulu passed away on July 27th, 2023. She was born in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was a packer and trimmer at Dole Cannery, she later became a housekeeping supervisor at Kapiolani Hospital until her retirement.

She is predeceased by her husband Walter D. Gouveia Sr., and her grandson Donny Gouveia. She is survived by her daughter, Annette Gouveia-Santos (Spouse: Dee Santos), her son, Walter D. Gouveia Jr. (Spouse: Linda Gouveia), her brother Raymond Perry (CA) and her sister Veronica Harris (TX). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Christina Schwartz (CA), Gino Venti (MI), Chelsey Gouveia (TX), Preston James Nishida (HI), Shaun Gouveia (HI), Nicholas Smith (LV), Alexandria Gouveia (HI), Walter D. Gouveia III (HI),17 great-grandchildren, and her numerous nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on August 17th, 2023 at Borthwick Mortuary (Mauka Chapel). Family Viewing is held from 09:30 AM - 10 AM. Public Viewing and service are held from 10 AM - 1 PM. Burial to follow at Hawaii Memorial at 2 PM.

Services are open to the public. Casual attire.
