Linda M. Provost

Linda M. Provost, 70, of Elizabethtown, KY and former Homosassa, FL resident of over 37 years, passed away on Friday, April 15, 2016 at Kindred Hospital, Louisville, KY. A native of Winooski, VT, she was born June 22, 1945 to Eugene and Melissa (Pond) Houle, one of eighteen children. A lifelong homemaker, mother and grandmother, Linda moved to Kentucky in July of 2013, but had spent much of her adult life in Homosassa, where she had lived for nearly 37 years. Linda was of the Roman Catholic faith and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, John H. Provost, Sr. on June 2, 1997 and her seventeen siblings. She is survived by her four sons: John H. Jr., James C., Timothy W. and Michael D. Provost; her four daughters-in-law Angela L. (Cross), Christina S., Joanne M. and Brenda M. Provost: her grandchildren Natascha C., Bradley W., Allyssa M., Jessica R., Megan A., Daniel C., John H. III, Mark D., Zane F., Tanner G. and Ryan M. Provost and one great granddaughter, Aaleigha N. Price. Friends will received on Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 12:00 to 12:30 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, where a prayer service and celebration of Linda’s life will be held at 12:30 P.M. with Fr.
