Jeanne Marie Lambert

Jeanne Marie Lambert, 92, of Homosassa, Florida, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at Superior Residence of Lecanto, Lecanto, FL. A native of East Liverpool, Ohio, Jeanne was born Sept. 26, 1925 to Paul and Lucille (Bell) Morrow, one of three children. A lifelong homemaker, wife, mother and grandmother, Jeanne was of the Presbyterian faith and moved to Homosassa in 1981 from Camp Springs, Maryland. She was a member of Sugarmill Woods Golf Club and the Women of Sugarmill Woods and was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Col. William R. Lambert, USAF, Ret. on Feb. 2, 2005; two children; Peter D. Lambert and Kristi A. Lambert, and a sister, Paula J. “Dodie” Morsaint. Jeanne is survived by her son, Lt. Col. David W. Lambert, USAF, Ret. and his wife Dr. Kathleen Lambert, Hendersonville, NC; daughter-in-law Marguerite Sand, Venice, FL; grandchildren Nathan F. Lambert and his wife Amanda, Lancaster, MA; Lydia E. Lilly and her husband Joshua, Alexandria, VA and Anna Sand-Lambert, Venice, FL and great grandchildren Elenore and Penelope Lambert, Lancaster, MA., as well as sister Jackie Gaukel and her husband Mike, Paradise, CA. Friends will be received on Friday, Aug. 10, 2018 at Wilder Funeral Home, Homosassa, FL from 10:30 to 11:30 A.M., where a celebration of Jeanne’s life will commence at 11:30 A.M.
