James "Scotty" Beard

Scott was an avid arborist and landscaper. His knowledge and love for the outdoors was something he was very proud of, but he also took pride in teaching and sharing his craft. He spent most of his career working with his family business, 4-Star Lawncare. When Scotty wasn’t working his time was spent making countless memories with his brothers and especially his beloved sister Cindy.

He is pre-deceased by his Father, Charles Wilder Beard; Mother, Judith Gardner, and Brother, Richard “Mike” Beard. Scott is survived by: Stepfather David Gardner; Sister Cindy Floyd (husband Jeff); Brothers Kenneth Beard, Mark Beard (wife Anna), Brian Gardner (wife Hannah), Shawn Gardner (wife Nicole); Nieces Alyssa, Alisha, Kaitlyn, Olivia, Kaylee, Kenna; Nephews Mark, Brandon, Tyler, Connor, Justin, Carson, Kashton.

A Memorial Service will be held at Macrini-Wilder Funeral Home on Friday May 17, 2024 at 10:30 AM with a Graveside Service immediately following at Fountains Memorial Park.
