Alice D. Pratt

Alice D. Pratt, 79, of Homosassa, FL, passed away on Tues., Sept. 23, 2014 at her home from an extended illness due to cancer. A native of Marianna, FL, she was born Nov. 24, 1934 and was a retired office manager in the medical field. Alice moved to Homosassa in 1992 from Pinellas Park, FL and was of the Pentecostal faith. She loved cross stitching, fishing, and spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by her three children: Vicki Rector, Fruitland Park, FL; Bubba Pratt (wife Sandy), Gainesville, FL and Jimbo Pratt (wife Karen), St. Mathews, SC; three stepchildren: Judy Good, Chezney, PA; David Reed (wife Carol), Madeira Beach, FL and Donald Reed, Lecanto, FL; three siblings: Sarah Street, Jasper, FL; Paul Daffin (wife Darlene), Prattville, AL and Robert Daffin (wife Betty), Cusseta, GA. Alice was blessed with 17 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husbands Ralph Pratt in 1977 and Charlie Reed in 2006. Friends will be received on Sun., Sept. 28th from 1:00 to 4:00 P.M. at Wilder Funeral Home, 4890 S. Suncoast Blvd., Homosassa 34446 (352-628-3344), where a Celebration of Life will be held on Mon., Sept. 29th at 1:00 P.M. Entombment will follow at Fero Memorial Gardens, 5891 N.
