Sharon Elizabeth Wallace Byrd

Sharon Elizabeth Wallace Byrd, age 70, of Mountain Brook, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2023. Sharon was a Birmingham native through and through. She lived in South Side and graduated from Ramsey High School in 1972. Sharon loved her family and friends with all her heart. She was resilient, had wonderful taste, an eye for details, and had a first class whit. She was a hard worker at many jobs but found success with her loving husband, Bubba, by owning and operated Creative Surfaces, Inc. I’m Pelham before retiring.

She is preceded in death by her parents Marvin E. Wallace, Mary Blanche O’Brien Wallace, and brother Robert “Bobby” Wallace. Sharon is survived by her dutiful children, son Robert Gray Byrd, Jr., daughter Jessica Byrd Conner, and her beautiful granddaughter Camille Elizabeth Conner. Also, her brother Steve Wallace (Kay) of Pensacola, FL: as well as seven nieces and one nephew, and her beloved lifelong friends.

As in life, her death marks a milestone in the lives of those she knew and loved. She was an amazing mother, sister, friend, and animal lover. In our sorrow we find comfort in knowing that she is back together with her beloved husband, parents, and brother. She will be remembered every time we see a red cardinal.

A Celebration of Life will be held at her home in Mountain Brook that she shared with her daughter. Casual attire.
