Nancy Sherman

Nancy Moseley Sherman, age 62, of Birmingham, Alabama, passed away peacefully in her home on September 20, 2023. In addition to being a beloved wife and mother, she was also an adored elementary school teacher for 25 years.

Nancy was full of love, caring, and creativity. She felt blessed daily for the happiness that came from her daughter's accomplishments and for her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy. Nancy is survived by her husband and soul mate of 42 years, Kevin Sherman, her daughter, Courtney Lartigue (Jonathan), and her grandchildren, Henri and Elizabeth.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard (Jack) Moseley, and her mother, Mildred Moseley. Nancy found solace and strength in her faith and was a member of Our Lady Of Sorrows in Homewood.

Nancy will be deeply missed by her family, friends, colleagues, and the countless lives she touched throughout her life as a wife, mother, grandmother, and her career as an educator. May her soul rest in eternal peace, and may God greet her in heaven with “Welcome home my good and faithful servant”.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Our Lady Of Sorrows, 1730 Oxmoor Road, Homewood, AL on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 3:30 with visitation starting at 2:30.
