Born on March 2, 1959, he was a twin son of the late H.T. and Evelyn Glaze Bedsole. He graduated from Berry High School and was a member of Pelham First Baptist Church. Mark loved outdoor activities including hunting, old cars, and NASCAR. He started his career at his father’s body shop, Bradley & Bedsole Body Shop, and most recently worked at Bush Auto Collision in Gardendale, Alabama.
Mark was preceded in death by his parents, H.T. Bedsole and Evelyn Glaze Bedsole; twin brother, Clark Talmadge Bedsole; and niece, Kelly Brooks Hoynes. He is survived by his two sisters, Sheryl Roos (David) and Vickey Dunn; niece and nephews, David Roos, Jr. (Jessica), Daniel Roos, Karen Sentelle, and Adam Dunn (Alanna); great niece, Claire Hoynes (Michael); and by his sweet rescue dog, Snuggles.
The family would like to thank three of his closest friends for their love and for their support, Patti Clark, Brad Phillips, and Rob Grant.
Friends are cordially invited to the reception and visitation being held on Friday, July 19th, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Valley Chapel in Homewood. Mark’s funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. at Ridout’s Valley Chapel with burial immediately following at Highland Memorial Gardens in Bessemer beside his mother and twin brother.
In lieu of usual remembrances, the family requests with gratitude that memorials honoring Mark’s life be directed to the Birmingham Humane Society located at 300 Snow Drive, Homewood, Alabama 35209 or to a charity or cause important to you.
