Kenneth V. Ives was born Nov. 10, 1919 in Birmingham, AL to Marie and Chauncey Ives and passed away Dec. 18, 2015. He graduated from Ensley High School and was a photographer in a B-24 bomb group in the Pacific Theater during WW II. Following the war he met and married Anita Ricketts and later opened Ken Ives Studio in English Village. After 28 years they closed the studio and retired in 1983. He was a member of Altadena Golf Club where he enjoyed playing golf.
Mr. Ives is preceded in death by his wife Anita R. Ives and his brother Chauncey Ives. He is survived by his great nephew Ronald Ives of Cummings, GA and close friends and care taker Harold E. Lockhart, Sr. and his wife Nell of Riverchase, AL
Mr. Ives will have a graveside service on Monday, Dec. 21,2015 at Elmwood Cemetery in Birmingham, AL
