Lois was born on August 6, 1932 in Tebbetts, MO the daughter of Oscar and Josephine (Langley) Summers who preceded her in death. She was united in marriage on August 24, 1950 in Callaway County, MO to John Spencer who preceded her in death on June 9, 2004. She was an active and faithful member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church. Lois helped John at their service station for several years and also was a devoted homemaker to their children. She enjoyed spending time with her family, crafting, going to crafting shows and swap meets, dancing and listening to live music.
Survivors include: two sons, Charles Spencer and Kenneth Spencer both of Holts Summit, MO; two daughters, Carol Mobley of Holts Summit, MO and Anita Servos of Jefferson City, MO; nine grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was also preceded in death by three sons, David Spencer, Henry Spencer and Jerry Spencer; one daughter, Barbara Spencer; five sisters; one brother and one great grandson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 from noon – 1:00 pm at Debo Funeral Home in Holts Summit, MO. Funeral service will follow at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. Burial will be in Bull Cemetery, Holts Summit, MO.
