Marie Gordon

Crosdale as part of a family of 10 children. She was born in Cedar Valley,

St Thomas on the beautiful island of Jamaica. It was there that she

met and married the late Walter Gordon and relocated to Kingston. Walter

preceded her in death in 2016. She was the mother of four children,

Barrington McDonald, Milton Fisher, Paula Dickson, and Seyon Gordon

-Vacca.

She migrated to the USA in 1987, where she and her husband worked

hard and retired. Marie enjoyed worshiping God first and foremost . She

lived the life of a true Proverb 31 woman of God. She enjoyed cooking,

baking, crocheting, and playing dominoes with her husband. She enjoyed

watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune.

She was a great mother to her children, grandmother to her grandchildren,

and a loving wife to her husband. She has four surviving siblings.

Inez Ellis, Murine Clark, Ewen Crosdale, and Gwendolyn Stephenson.

She is survived by nineteen grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, a

host of nieces and nephews and other relatives.

Marie will always be highly regarded as a woman of honor with a beautiful

soul, lots of praises to the Lord, and love of the family.

She departed this earth and transition from labor to reward on May 3rd,

2024. We will always remember her for her saying “I’m taking it one day

at a time” and always calling on the name of Jesus.

We have lots of love and great memories. Rest in Peace, Mommy.
