Betty was born in West Somerville, Massachusetts to Joseph Herman and Jane Rose LeBlanc on August 28th, 1934. She attended St. Clement High School in Somerville, graduated in 1953. She married Charles F. Hubbard on April 19th, 1954, in West Somerville, Mass. at St. Clement Catholic Church. She worked as an Executive Secretary for the City of North Miami and subsequently retired as the City Clerk in 1994. She was President of the Holy Family Women’s Club, volunteered at Memorial Regional Hospital and at St. Maximillian Kolbe Church office. She sang in the Holy Family Choir and in the St. Maximilian Kolbe Choir for 30 years. While in retirement she used her talents of sewing and knitting creating baby blankets and hats for her church’s “Right to Life” organization and area hospitals. On the 60th Anniversary of the Archdiocese of Miami, she was recognized for being a representative Missionary Disciple and presented with a Jubilaeum pin and certificate by Archbishop Wenski for her exceptional and dedicated service for multiple decades to her faith and church.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Charles F Hubbard, her son, Gerard Charles, her grandson, Dylan Dawson and her brothers, Norman, and Paul LeBlanc.
Elizabeth is survived by her daughters, Linda Dawson, Kathleen & Wayne Treco, Diane & David Lott, Patricia & Nelson Gaviria, and son, Charles & Tamara Hubbard. Betty is also survived by 12 grandchildren; Kyle Dawson, Nicole Treco-Knowles, Krystal Treco-Farrington, Michael Treco; Stephen Megan, & Cameron Lott; Maxwell Hubbard; Mark Hubbard; Nelson P, Alexia & Cassandra Gaviria, as well as 5 great-grandchildren; Chase Hubbard, Emma & Jack Knowles, Mila Farrington, and George Lott.
Her wake will be at 6:00pm on March 25th, 2022, at Fred Hunters at 6301 Taft Street, Hollywood, Fl
A concelebrated mass will be held at 10:00am on March 26th, 2022, at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church; 701 N. Hiatus Rd., Pembroke Pines with Fr. Jeffrey McCormick of St. Maximilian Kolbe officiating. Burial will follow at Hollywood Memorial Gardens North 3001 N 72nd Ave., Hollywood, Fl. Arrangements are by Fred Hunters Hollywood.
