William Eugene James

William “Gene” Eugene James, age 71, of Holland, OH passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Cullman, Alabama on July 3, 1943 to Dewey and Francis (Puckett) James and on January 3, 2011, he married Tammy Faith Spradlin. Gene was employed as an Engineer with Crestline Paving and Excavating, retiring in 2000. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and doing projects around the house.

He is survived by his wife, Tammy James; children, Gena James-Barker, Kathy Fisher, Tina Price and Lori Allen; several grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry and Kenneth James; sisters, Marie Speaks, Juanita Wyatt, Patricia Hamilton and Barbara Puls. Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Dewey and Francis; sister, Janet McGregor and brothers, Robert D., Jimmy, Huey, Harold and Darrell James.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at Neville Funeral Home, Southwest Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway in Holland, Ohio (419-865-8879) where his family will receive friends after 10:00 A.M.
