Sharon Wagner, beloved wife and mother, 70, of Holland, was welcomed into the Arms of Jesus on November 27, 2023, after a courageous 4 year battle with cancer. Her positive attitude was present even during her health issues.
She was born to Adrian Jr. and Harriet (Busscher) Veele on March 24, 1953. Sharon grew up in West Olive with her four siblings, having fun with cousins, neighborhood friends, and riding her horse, Duke. After graduating from West Ottawa High School, Sharon owned her own cleaning business for 30 years. She met and married Kelly Wagner, where they shared life together for 43 years.
Sharon was a faithful member of Central Wesleyan Church for over 35 years serving as Craft Coordinator for the Pioneer Girls group for several of those years. She will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her for her faith, giving nature, perseverance, and willingness to help out. She loved making the holidays special, spending time in her yard, creating beautiful cross-stitch pictures, and had an incredible ability to shop until she dropped to find the best deals.
Sharon is survived and dearly missed by her husband Kelly and children, Ken Wagner (Tricia), Carrie VanKlompenberg (Jeff) and Aaron Haltenhoff (Lynne); grandchildren Allison Kinzie (Justin), Amanda Wagner, Tori Haltenhoff, Kyle Wagner, Trevor Haltenhoff, Ashley Haltenhoff and Nathan VanKlompenberg; mother Harriet Veele, sister Connie Werner, and brothers Duane Veele (Pat) and Steve Veele (Lisa).
She is preceded in death by her father Adrian Veele Jr., sister Diane Schreur, and brother-in-law Jack Werner.
Family and friends are welcome to attend a Celebration of Life, which will be held at Lakeshore Memorial Services 11939 James St, Holland, MI 49424 on Saturday December 2nd, 2023. Visitation will begin at 11:00 am, the service will begin at 12:00 pm and a reception will follow.
