Ray grew up in Montague, MI and worked on the Weesies Brothers Farm. Later in life he drove semi across the USA for Thornapple Valley Meats for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his son-in-law Rod Van Dyke and daughter-in-law Lori Weesies.
Ray is survived by his wife Myra (Barkema) of 67 years; daughters Jelane (Russ) Jansen, Julie Van Dyke, son Jim Weesies; 13 Grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; sisters Donna Veeneman, Mavis Lownds; brothers Wendell Weesies and Garry Weesies; many extended family and friends.
A service to celebrate Ray’s life will be 11:00am Tuesday, December 17, 2024 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland. Burial will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 10:00am Tuesday, until the time of the service at Lakeshore Memorial.
