Born May 26, 1948, Peggy spent many loving years living and working in Livonia, Michigan. She graduated from Northville High School in 1966 before receiving an Associates Degree from Schoolcraft College. Peggy’s work career included bridal retail, administrative office coordination, and medical office management. She was often known as a “non-professional” wedding planner since she loved to help plan weddings for family and friends using her amazing craft skills.
Peggy and Terry (deceased, 2018), husband of 48 years, moved to Zeeland, Michigan in 2002 in order to be closer to their daughters and 4 grandchildren. It was here that she continued work for Davenport University and Holland Area Arts Council. She loved her work at the Arts Council as it complimented her passion for crafting, arts, and creativity. Peggy could often be found creating projects for holidays and special occasions, scrapbooking or crocheting. However, she was happiest crafting alongside her grandchildren, as she was always coming up with projects to do with them.
Peggy loved to travel the United States, especially South Carolina and any area of Michigan. Peggy and Terry would often take day trips up and down the Lake Michigan shoreline in search of the best beaches to take in the fresh air. She especially loved being near oceans and lakes, finding peace in the calming beauty of the water.
Peggy will be dearly missed by daughters Rebecca and Elizabeth, son-in-law Randy, her four grandchildren (Larissa, Lauryn, Kyle, Eric), and many nieces and nephews.
