Jose Luiz Perez

Joe was born April 16, 1957 in Karnes County, Texas to Cipriano and Cruz (Suarez) Perez. He loved fishing, barbecuing in the summer, he could be found cooking chili and entering chili contests at church (where he won the title 2 years in a row). He worked construction, most recently for Lamar and once in awhile trying his luck at Gun Lake. He was a Godly man who attended Engedi Church (Holland Campus). He loved his faith, believed in God, and loved to praise and worship the Lord. Joe will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Joe was preceded in death by his parents Cipriano and Cruz (Suarez) Perez, his father in law and mother in law Leonardo and Lucia.

Those left to cherish his memory include his lovely wife of 18 years Betty Perez; daughter Stephanie Perez; 3 grandsons Tommy Wolf Jr., Jonah Wolf, Cisko Lopez, son Tommy Wolf Sr., a special niece Danielle Salas aka Daniboo and his son/dog Chewy; Many extended family and friends.

Services to celebrate Joe's life will be at 11am, Wednesday, December 11 2024 at Lakeshore Memorial Services. Officiating the service will be Evangelist Kim Harris Ceesay. Burial will be at North Holland Cemetery (Beeline and James). Pallbearers; Tommy Wolf Jr., Jonah Wolf, Cisko Lopez, Jesse Morin, Edmond Martinez and Josiah Morin.

Visitation will be from 10:00am prior to service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
