John Cornelius Zeerip

John was born March 10, 1928 in Holland to Cornelius Zeerip and Ida Post Zeerip. John was born on the family farm where Ridgepoint Church currently stands. He drove truck for Gra-Bell Truck Lines for over 40 years prior to retiring where he spent time helping his children on the farms and spending time with antique cars and playing music on the accordion and the piano.

John was preceded in death by: wife Leona; his parents; 9 siblings; and a son, Rick Zeerip

John is survived by: children, Linda (Mark) Dalman, Dave (Elly) Zeerip; daughter-in-law, Betty Zeerip; grandchildren, Todd, Teri, and Tina Dalman, Jeremy and Tammy Zeerip, Jonathan Zeerip, Mike and Samantha Zeerip, Matt Zeerip and 4 Great Grandchildren; Brynn and Brody Zeerip, Jace and Jesse Zeerip; Sister, Ida Janssen; and Sister-in-law Delores Schutter; and many extended family and dear friends.

A funeral service to celebrate John’s life will be held on Friday October 14 at 11am at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland. Officiating will be the Reverend James Scholten. Burial at Bentheim Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 pm on Thursday October 13 at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James Street, Holland.
