Geneva Rice

Mrs. Rice was born in Paintsville, KY to Marion Frank and Stella (Van Hoose) Williams, where she spent her childhood. Following her marriage to Luther Rice, they moved to, and became long time residents of Fairborn, OH. She attended Fairborn United Missionary Church, Huber Heights Church of God, and Central Wesleyan Church during her time in Michigan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther B. Rice (1986), daughter-in-law, Margie Kaye (Parker) Rice (1990), 2 grandchildren, Jason Parker (1975) and Lisa Parker (1964).

Surviving are her children, William Roger Rice of Kissimmee, FL and Stella (Rice) and Ted Parker of Zeeland; grandchildren, Becky (Rice) Hornsby, Bradley and Darlene Rice, Shelli (Rice) and Clayton Chesnutt, Joni (Parker) and Brian VanRhee, Julie (Parker) and Jeff Zylstra; 9 great grandchildren; 7 great great grandchildren; several beloved nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 6-8:00pm at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St., Holland, MI.

Services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, June 4, 2016 in the Chapel at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, 8200 W. National Rd., New Carlisle, OH.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland.
