Duane Norman Kloet, 82, passed away unexpectedly in Lakeland, Florida, on Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was a long-time member of Calvary Reformed Church and was an electrical lineman for the Holland BPW. Duane enjoyed shuffle board, watching sports and was an avid Detroit Tiger fan.
He was preceded in death by his wife Judy in 2016 and by his brother Ronald and Dolores Kloet. Duane is survived by his children Richard (Bethesda) Kloet, Ronda (Tim) Taylor, Todd (Carla) Kloet, Myron (Lori) Trethewey, Jeff (Barbara) Trethewey, John (Suzi) Trethewey, Julie (Tim) Peterson, Gary (Diane) Trethewey and by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his brother Keith (Susanne) Kloet and sister Marilyn (Jim) DeKock.
A service to celebrate his life will be 4 pm, Sunday, November 11, at Lakeshore Memorial Services, 11939 James St, Holland, with a time to visit the family from 2-4 pm prior to the service.
