Thomas F. “Fred” Broadhurst, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and friend, 82, of Harrison passed away on Monday, March 7, 2011. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and one of the original owners of the Racquet Club in Hixson. He was a member of Rivermont and Valleybrook Golf Clubs.
Fred was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jean Broadhurst.
Survivors are five children; Fred (Laura), Jeff, Tim (Dana), Pam (Joe) Clark, Nancy Broadhurst; seven grandchildren, Jennifer, Rebecca, Stacey, Kristen, Amy, Christopher and Matt; five great grandchildren, Brooklynne, Spencer, Natalie, Garrett and Mason.
The family will receive friends from 2 until 4 and 6 until 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 9 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Burial will be Private.
