Terry Powell, 69, passed away peacefully in his home in Pisgah, Alabama. He was a military veteran in the which he served in the Army. He is survived by his wife Debbie, grandchildren Zach (Summer), Andrew Powell, Lauren Ramirez (Jorge), Nathan Oliver, Brady Oliver. He had 5 great grandchildren. Brothers Rickey Mann, Tony Johnston (Sherry) and Carolyn Smith (Robert), 8 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Shane Powell, daughter Mandy Oliver, mother Jesse Johnston, grandparents James and Mae Mann and brother Michael Johnston.
Visitation will be Wednesday, December 18th at New Home Baptist Church, 3019 Co Rd 61, Pisgah, AL 35765, with visitation at 11:00 CST then the funeral following at 12:00 CST, with Pastor David Smith and Reverend Johnny Pope officiating. Following the funeral at 3:30 pm EST Wednesday, we will be having a graveside service at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Hwy 153, Hixson, TN 37343 with Dave Sekura officiating.
