Sara was born in Great Lakes, Illinois and was a graduate of Hixson High School and the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design. She had previously worked at JC Penney Shoe Department, Jefferson’s Restaurant, Hertz Car Rental at the Chattanooga Airport, Marriott Hotel Downtown, CSL Plasma and Hixson’s Staples.
She was a member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church and belonged to the Church Bell Choir and the Young Adult Bible Study Group, both of which she enjoyed.
Surviving are her parents, Carl and Esther Hunt; sisters, Ann (Brandon) White; Nyssa Hunt and Elora Hunt; and nephew, Finn White.
Visitation will be 4 to 8 PM on Monday, July 6, 2015 at the funeral home.
Funeral Service will be at 10 AM on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church with Rev. Barry Hildebrandt officiating.
Burial will follow at Hamilton Memorial Garden, Hixson, TN.
