Pat was a graduate of Central High School. She was of the Presbyterian faith. Pat was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Some of her favorite hobbies were painting and dabbling with writing poetry. She enjoyed playing tennis, a sport she and her husband played often as members of the Manker Patten Tennis Club and Valleybrook Tennis Association. She was also an avid dog and animal lover.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, James Barker “Jim” Jones and her parents, Donald and Cora Donham.
Left behind to cherish Pat’s memory are her daughter and son-in-law, Jaime and Mark Thomas, grandsons and their spouses, Matthew and Isha Deo-Thomas and Aaron and Kelsie Thomas.
A Celebration of Pat’s Life will be held at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home on Friday May 19, 2023 at 4:00 pm. The family will receive friends’ one hour prior beginning at 3:00 pm. She will be laid to rest with her husband, James in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Pat’s memory can be made to Chattanooga Food Bank or Hospice of Chattanooga.
Arrangements are under the care of the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 5401 Highway 153, Hixson.
