Dr. Perez graduated from Baylor Prep school, and was a MD graduate of the University of Tennessee Memphis, College of Medicine. After graduation Dr. Perez served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, performing research and development of radioactive Isotopes, Nuclear medicine radiation, to provide functional diagnostic organ analysis.
Dr. Perez dedicated his life with his work of medicine with Erlanger Baroness/ Children’s Hospital until retirement.
Dr. Perez had a love of music, was a member of the Advisory Committee and Parliamentarian for the Chattanooga Music Fine Arts Club, and enjoyed many events of the Chattanooga Symphony.
He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Allie Perez, Brothers Everett, Sylvan and Ray Boswell.
He is survived by his sister, Ramona Perez Finkelman, nieces, Clare Kohavi Finkelman, Rita Boswell Haskew, nephew, Everett C Boswell, and several great nieces, nephews.
A private funeral service has already been conducted. Burial was in Beautiful Greenwood Cemetery.
