Lou attended Campion High School in Wisconsin and Marquette University. He started his career at Keen Foundry in Griffith, Indiana and later became an entrepreneur/business consultant starting several businesses in both the Chicago area as well as his adopted home of Chattanooga, Tennessee.
Surviving Lou, is his loving wife of 40 years, Violet. He is also survived by his children, Louis (Marie) Keen, Michael (Robin) Keen and Anna Keen; three grandchildren, Emilie Keen, Michael Louis Keen and Gabrielle Keen.
Lou led an active life enjoying gardening and home projects. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hiking, fishing and boating with his wife and children. Lou was loved by all who met him in business and in his personal life.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5001 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tennessee 37343. Guests will be received, 12:30 pm - 1:00 pm. Mausoleum entombment in Hamilton Memorial Gardens to follow with Reverend Elise Anderson presiding.
