She had a strong Christian faith and demonstrated it throughout her life by being a very loving and giving person.
As a girl growing up in Alabama, she was quite resourceful and used Poke berries for lipstick and later in life would become the owner of "The Lily Pad Shop" in Hixson, Tennessee.
Her very words were "I've been a Model, an Estimator for a paving company, owned a jewelry store, created floral arrangements, and countless other things, all with love, for people to enjoy."
Lillian's life was a beautiful tapestry to the people who knew her and loved her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis F. Wilson.
Left to cherish Lillian's memory is her son, Toney Wilson (Carla); several nieces and nephews, and countless friends.
A very special thank you to her dearest friends, Donna Burns, Barbarah Owens, and her dear caregiver, Breanna Fowler.
Like an angel on earth, she was truly loved by so many people and will live deep in our hearts forever.
A visitation for Lillian will be held Thursday, January 4, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Chattanooga Funeral Home-North Chapel.
A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
Entombment in the mausoleum with her beloved husband in Hamilton Memorial Gardens will conclude the day's celebration of Lillian's life.
