He is preceded in death by his parents, James and Geneva Hodges and a brother, Jimmy Hodges.
He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sherry Hodges; daughter, Debbie (Scotty) Byrd; son, Stacy (Kristy) Hodges; grandchildren, Jacob Byrd, Cheyanne Hodges, Lydia Hodges, Benjamin Hodges and Addy Hodges; sister, Judy Winfrey.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Disabled Veterans of America at dav.org or St. Jude Children’s Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm at Chattanooga Funeral, North Chapel.
A graveside service will take place on Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 1:30 pm at Chattanooga National Cemetery.
