She was born in Decatur, Tennessee to the late Bill and Leona Cordell.
Helen is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ben O’Daniel; parents, listed above; and brothers, Kenneth Cordell, Harold Cordell, and Billy Cordell.
Survivors include her son, Rusty O’Daniel and brother, J.T. Cordell.
A visitation for Helen will occur Friday, October 18, 2024 from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Chattanooga Funeral Home – North Chapel, 5401 Highway 153 Hixson, TN 37343. A graveside service will follow starting at 12:30 at Hamilton Memorial Gardens, 5351 Highway 153 Hixson, TN 37343.
