Dale was a lifelong resident of the Chattanooga area and a 1976 graduate of Red Bank High School. He was a music lover and enjoyed playing the guitar. Dale loved to cook and was an avid NASCAR fan. He was a longtime employee with Combustion Control Solutions as a boilermaker. Dale was well respected in the community as a boilermaker and was loved by everyone that knew him. He loved his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Dye, and uncle, Bill Dye.
Dale was the best husband in the world to his wonderful wife of 34 years Jannell Susann Dye; the greatest father to his children, Dale Dye, Adam (Brandi) Dye, Jeremy Jackson and Amber Garrett; Paw Paw will be missed by his loving 9 grandchildren; his mother, Sarah Miller Dye; siblings, Lynne Dye (Carl Baggett), Tina (Steve) Hodge and Tim (Beth) Dye; aunt, Louise Dye; several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 4 pm on Saturday, June 4, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of Dale’s life will follow at 4 pm on Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
