She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her family.
Bobbie was born February 20, 1931 in the heart of the Great Depression to the late, Rabie and Etta Mae Smith. She was a founding and devoted member of Mountain Creek Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her aforementioned parents, and 3 siblings.
Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 72 years, Roy A. Cox, children, Allen Cox, Patty Yother, Terry (Karen) Cox, Troy (Amy) Cox, and Karen (Shannon) Harris, grandchildren, Brooke, Alexis, Tyler, Tanner, Matthew, Ashley, Alison, Nick, Misty, Scott, and Johnny, 5 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and many dear friends.
A Celebration of Bobbie’s Life will be held privately in the Chapel of Devotion in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens. A graveside entombment will follow the service, due to the COVID-19 restrictions, that too will be restricted to family as well per their request. This is based on the current mandates set forth by the CDC and Hamilton County.
