Barbara Sue Turner, 85, of Hixson died Monday, May 28, 2018. She devoted her life to her family.
She was born April 13, 1933 in Chattanooga to the late Robert Monroe Burns and Georgia Pauline McDade Turner. She was preceded in death by her son, Randall Turner; sister, Marian Smith; brothers, Robert Burns and Roland Burns. Mrs. Turner was a member of Harmony Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband of 69 years. Edward Turner; sons, Ron (Teresa) Turner, and Darrell (Linda Jenae’) Turner; grandchildren, Sean Turner, Eric Turner, and Jennifer Turner; sister, Bobbie Jean Crane.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 am, Saturday, June 2, 2018 at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 4-7 Friday evening.
