Schlaff, William C. age 82, of Highland, passed away on May 17, 2012. Dear husband of Esther, loving father of Judith (Michael) Romines and Christine (John) Galligan, proud Grandfather of Kelly and Erin Galligan, brother of the late Robert Schlaff. William was retired from Burroughs Corp. after many years of service. He was also a member of the Moose, Eagles, and The American Legion. William enjoyed bowling, golf and had a love for Traverse City. The visitation will take place from 2-8 p.m. on Monday, May 21, 2012 at The Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. William will be in-state beginning at 9:00 a.m. until the time of mass at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday May 22, 2012, at The Church of the Holy Spirit 3700 N. Harvey Lake Road Highland. Memorial donations may be made to the Capuchins Soup Kitchen.
