Mark Lewis Dawson, age 49, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away on Tuesday, October 22, 2024. Mark was born on March 16, 1975, to his parents Robert and Gloria Dawson. Mark worked for General Motors for the extent of his career. Mark had a passion for classic cars and motorcycles. Mark would spend many hours in the garage restoring his classic car. Mark was truly talented when it came to automotive bodywork. He was an expert mechanic and had an eye for detail. His garage was always filled with tools and parts, and he was often busy working on a project. Many who knew Mark remember him by his kind heart and goofy sense of humor. If he wasn’t in the garage he enjoyed playing video games with his brother Joe whenever he could.
Mark is survived by his Mother Gloria Dawson; his two sisters and was especially close to his two brothers Rob and Joe. Preceded by his father Robert Dawson
A memorial visitation will be held November 4, 2024, at 10:30 am, at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home 3295 E. Highland Rd, Highland, MI 48356. A Memorial Service will follow at the funeral home at 11:00 am, Officiated by Rev. Justin Rorie.
