Lewis Shockey Jr.

Lewis is survived by his 5 children Yolanda, Ronald, Janine, Dwayne and Starlene; Jason Lawrence; Louie was grandfather to 8, great grandfather to 19, and great great grandfather to 4.

Born February 11, 1925, Louie was a World War II Vet and an established resident in Highland Michigan. In 1957 he founded Still Meadow Ranch. Louie was known as the Highland Cowboy and a ledged with his Bull horns on his White Cadillac Eldorado. Louie along with is daughter was a champion barrel racer. He enjoyed dancing and being surrounded by his family. Louie had a loving nature, he was kind and had a great sense of humor. Louie was loved dearly by his friends.

Music will be provided by his sister Audry Field. The service will be led by his brother-in-law

A visitation for Lewis will be held Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Elton Black & Son Funeral Home, 3295 E Highland Rd, Highland, Michigan 48356. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at 12:00 PM at the funeral Home. Interment will occur at Fairview Cemetery, 584 E. Broad St., Linden Michigan
