Joanne E. Trotz

Joanne, E. Trotz, age 84 of Highland Twp., passed away on Tuesday, August 21, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Donald Trotz; loving mother of Patty Trotz, Kathie (Dennis) Tereshko, Margaret (Urban) Wessling and the late James Trotz; grandmother of Heather (Dave) Osminski and Spike Tereshko; great-grandmother of Alex Osminski; sister of Pat (Art) Kolasa and William (Christine) Crowley. She is also survived by several nieces. Joanne was a devoted member of Church of the Holy Spirit. She enjoyed puzzle books, reading and playing cards. She was a girl scout leader for many years and volunteered for the Red Cross for over 40 years. Visitation will be on Wednesday August 29, 2018 from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm (Rosary service at 7:00 pm) at the Highland Chapel of the Elton Black and Son Funeral Home, 3295 E. Highland Road, Highland. The funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Church of the Holy Spirit, 3700 N. Harvey Lake Road, Highland. On Thursday Mrs. Trotz will lie in state at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Private committal services will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be made to Church of the Holy Spirit or to the American Diabetes Association.
